PWInsider.com‘s Mike Johnson reports that TNA presented an angle during last night’s house show in Manhattan featuring Team 3D signing new contracts with the company. The former Dudley Boys polled their hometown crowd on which promotion they wished to see them compete in (TNA or “the other company”) before inking the deals.
The angle was filmed and will apparently air on a future TNA Today online segment. Although the signing itself was in storyline, one would assume that Team 3D have legitimately agreed to remain with TNA if their decision was publicly recognized.

Mick Foley made his first appearance with TNA last night at a house show in Long Island, New York. The Hardcore Legend - who did not actually set foot inside the ring - was introduced by Jeremy Borash before World Champion Samoa Joe’s main event title defense against Kurt Angle.
Foley asked the live crowd to chant the names of all his children (who were present at the show) and they complied. The former WWE Champion said he believes in TNA and hopes to make an impact on the company.
Another newsworthy item coming out of the Long Island event involved Team 3D, who announced that their TNA contracts have expired and hinted at a return to WWE. Brother Ray said the future of he and Devon would be revealed at tonight’s house show in Manhattan.

I'm sure you have noticed the lack of new member's only content here on the site over the past week. That's due to a technical problem to some of the equipment at my house which I am working on getting fixed. It has totally screwed up my schedule and getting content up. This should be corrected over the next few days.
There are also some plans in the works to change around some things here on the site which I want to make happen over the next few weeks as well. I am also throwing around the idea of adding a second, full-sized edition of the Between The Ropes show later in the week. It would be later at night and also available for download afterwards. I'm looking for some feedback on this so if you could, please share your thoughts in the comment section on this post.
Thanks everyone and I appreciate your support. Comments (6) | Views: 102 | Read more... |

WWE.com is hyping a baseball-themed month of October on WWE 24/7, as the on demand channel presents wrestling events gimmicked around America’s pastime.
Included on next month’s schedule is the famous “Showdown at Shea” card from 1980 featuring Bruno Sammartino battling former protégé Larry Zbyszko inside a steel cage (This marks the first time that the Shea Stadium event has been televised in its entirety). Two house shows emanating from the Los Angeles Sports Arena (1988) and the Boston Garden (1986) will also be shown.
The career of Big John Studd is celebrated in the Legends category, while fans have the option of choosing a Pick Your Big One PPV with Halloween Havoc ‘92, In Your House: Buried Alive, and No Mercy 2004 as October’s selections.
Steve Lombardi also dusts off the “Abe ‘Knuckleball’ Schwartz” gimmick to host Shorties segments featuring baseball stars such as Wade Boggs and Pete Rose.

UFC made the announcement today that the MMA world has been waiting for....Randy "The Natural" Couture is coming back to the Octagon. UFC President Dana White made the announcement today that the UFC Hall-of-Famer, and current heavyweight champion, will defend his title in the headlining bout of UFC 91 against Brock Lesnar.
MMAjunkie.com is reporting that Couture, who resigned from the company back in October, has apparently resolved the issues with Dana White that led to his resignation which included his perceptions over pay, the company's inability to sign Fedor Emelianenko and lack on respect from UFC officials. He was planning on sitting out the remainder of his 18 month contract, during which he needed to fight two fights, so he could fight elsewhere. That matter and his employment status have been tangled in the court systems for months.
According to White his disputed contract has been scrapped in favor of a new three fight deal, which White claims, "No matter whether Randy wins or loses (the bout with Lesnar), he will still be in the UFC".
